The history of the Bird Park dates back from 1888 during the establishment of Lake Gardens. Initially, the Bird Park belonged to the Lake Gardens. In 1991, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park was officially introduced. Along with Bird Park, other attractions in Lake Gardens are the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens, Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur, an artificial lake and the National Monument. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is one of the top spots you shouldn’t miss as it is also the largest free-flight aviary in the world.
