A woman’s risk of developing breast cancer has increased from one-nine to one-eighth. Thus, the results of research conducted Cancer Research UK, a Cancer Foundation in the UK as quoted from the BBC News website.
The figures released by Cancer Research UK show that there is an increase of 3.5% of women with breast cancer in the last 10 years. Meanwhile, women between the ages of 50 and 69 are in the category with the highest percentage increase, at 6%.
According to research in India, every four minutes an Indian woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. One woman dies of carcinoma, every 13 minutes in India.
