A trinomial [tri implies three] is the product of non-negative Integer powers of variables or we can say an algebraic expression containing 3 terms in it.
Example:
(a + b) ² = (a + b) (a + b) = a² + 2ab + b²
The Square of any binomial produces the following three terms:
1. The square of the first term of the binomial: a².
2. Twice the product of the two terms: 2ab.
3. The square of the second term: b².
