Transforming Rural Health in India | AIF’s MANSI program

AIF’s MANSI program is transforming rural health care in India by capacitating health workers, including Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) and community health facilitators, through localized training and continuous support. By empowering them to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes, educate adolescent girls on anemia prevention and sexual and reproductive health, and combat malnutrition in remote regions, the program has significantly impacted underserved communities. Stories of health workers like Somela Bangaramma, Maneesha, and Pallavi exemplify the positive changes brought about by these rural development initiatives.
